CEO of Catholics for Catholics John Yep recaps Rome and tells a miraculous discovery relating St. Michael the Archangel to the new Pope Leo XIV.
As our team wraps up our work here in Rome and heads back to the States, I wanted to offer you all a word of hope on the first day of the papacy of Pope Leo XIV.
After talking with many good Catholics from around the world, there are a couple prevailing sentiments. On one hand, there’s great excitement, the father figure Christ promised His Church in John 21, has returned! It’s a moment of holy joy.
At the same time there is justifiable caution and fear for what this pontificate could be like based on some of his previous actions as Cardinal which can be addressed later. In the end, only God knows the future and time will tell. I do know that the great Saint Michael has had his hand on this papal election. Let me explain.
For one thing, he was elected yesterday, May 8th, on the anniversary of the apparition of Saint Michael at Mt. Gargano where the archangel famously defended the local Christians from pagan invaders in 663. Secondly, Pope Leo XIV chose his new name with a nod to Pope Leo XIII who composed the Saint Michael Prayer after receiving a powerful apparition from this great Archangel.
Is this all by chance? It could be but I don’t think so. I do believe that Saint Michael is working hard behind the scenes. As we begin this new era for the Church, let’s be close to this warrior for God, asking him to pray for the protection of Pope Leo XIV and the Church.
Thank you all for the support that you’ve sent to get us here to Rome. We were able to speak the message of Christ on many different outlets including going LIVE on the Charlie Kirk Show at the exact moment the Pope came out. THAT’s a story for another day.
Back to the States we go! Arrivederchi da Roma!
God Bless and Fight On!
